About the projects and role:


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Scientist. You will work on data analysis, machine learning model development, and data-driven decision-making to improve business outcomes. This is a good opportunity for a recent graduate or an early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and data-driven environment.


Key responsibilities and tasks:

  • Collect, clean, and preprocess structured and unstructured data from various sources.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns and insights.
  • Develop, implement, and validate machine learning models under supervision.
  • Optimize and fine-tune algorithms for performance improvements.
  • Create data visualizations and dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib.
  • Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Assist in designing and running A/B tests to evaluate model performance and business impact.
  • Document methodologies, experiments, and processes clearly and concisely.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, software developers, and business analysts.
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Python and its data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of statistical analysis and probability.
  • Familiarity with supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques.
  • Experience with SQL and database management.
  • Basic understanding of data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience working with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, etc.).
  • Familiarity with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) is a plus.
  • Understanding of MLOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Prior experience in data-driven business problem-solving.
