About the projects and role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Scientist. You will work on data analysis, machine learning model development, and data-driven decision-making to improve business outcomes. This is a good opportunity for a recent graduate or an early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and data-driven environment.
Key responsibilities and tasks:
- Collect, clean, and preprocess structured and unstructured data from various sources.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns and insights.
- Develop, implement, and validate machine learning models under supervision.
- Optimize and fine-tune algorithms for performance improvements.
- Create data visualizations and dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib.
- Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation.
- Assist in designing and running A/B tests to evaluate model performance and business impact.
- Document methodologies, experiments, and processes clearly and concisely.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, software developers, and business analysts.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python and its data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, etc.).
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis and probability.
- Familiarity with supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques.
- Experience with SQL and database management.
- Basic understanding of data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib.
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience working with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, etc.).
- Familiarity with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) is a plus.
- Understanding of MLOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Prior experience in data-driven business problem-solving.
