What You’ll Do
- Break down business requirements into clear, testable user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Execute functional, regression, and exploratory tests across web and mobile platforms.
- Identify, reproduce, and document defects—then verify the fixes.
- Maintain living documentation (Confluence, Markdown) so knowledge stays accessible.
- Write lightweight automation scripts in Python to speed up repetitive checks.
- Review merge requests, track code changes with Git, and flag potential risks.
- Collect user feedback, synthesize insights, and present improvement proposals.
- Support monthly release cycles with impact analysis and post-deployment validation.
- Partner with senior developers to refine monitoring dashboards and performance alerts.
- Continuously learn domain specifics—finance APIs today, healthcare compliance tomorrow.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Familiarity with Python or Java; ability to read and tweak code.
- Solid grasp of software testing fundamentals, SDLC, and Agile ceremonies.
- Experience using Git for version control and pull-request workflows.
- Comfort with SQL basics for data validation and simple reporting.
- Analytical mindset—trace a bug from symptom to root cause without drama.
- Clear, concise communication; you translate tech jargon into plain English.
- Team spirit and self-motivation—remote work demands both autonomy and empathy.
