Role Snapshot  

You join a cross-functional squad building pixel-perfect user experiences. Your work touches design systems, performance tuning, and continuous delivery pipelines. Mentors support you through code reviews, pair programming, and weekly learning labs.


What You’ll Do  

- Translate Figma designs into reusable React components with modern HTML and CSS modules.  

- Implement responsive layouts that perform across browsers, devices, and assistive technologies.  

- Debug UI defects, write unit tests, and maintain 90 %+ test coverage.  

- Integrate REST and GraphQL APIs; handle state with Redux or Context.  

- Optimize bundle size, lazy-load assets, and monitor Core Web Vitals.  

- Document components in Storybook and contribute to the shared design system.  

- Collaborate with designers, back-end engineers, and QA to ship features in two-week sprints.  

- Participate in usability testing sessions—iterate based on data and user feedback.  

- Stay current with ES2023 features and emerging accessibility standards.  


Your Toolkit  

- Solid grasp of semantic HTML5, modern CSS (Grid, Flexbox, variables).  

- Proficiency in vanilla JavaScript plus ES6+ syntax, promises, and async/await.  

- Hands-on experience with a major UI framework—React preferred, Angular or Vue valued.  

- Familiarity with Git workflows (feature branching, pull requests, CI checks).  

- Comfort reading JSON APIs and handling fetch/axios calls.  

- Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 guidelines and ARIA patterns.  

- Ability to explain trade-offs, write clear documentation, and ask insightful questions.  

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.  

- Internship, bootcamp project, or personal portfolio showcasing UI work.  


Nice-to-Have Extras  

- TypeScript basics for safer refactoring.  

- Testing Library or Cypress for end-to-end automation.  

- Tailwind, Styled Components, or Emotion for styling.
