What You’ll Do

- Design, code, and unit-test AI micro-services in Python 3.12..  

- Integrate TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn models into REST and gRPC APIs..  

- Build automated data pipelines with Pandas, SQL, and Apache Airflow..  

- Optimize inference latency with vectorization, mixed precision, and profiling tools..  

- Debug model drift, memory leaks, and concurrency issues across staging environments..  

- Document algorithms, architecture decisions, and experiment results in Markdown wikis..  

- Pair-program with senior engineers during code reviews and mob sessions..  

- Participate in two-week Agile sprints, backlog grooming, and sprint retros..  

- Support end users by triaging tickets, reproducing edge cases, and hot-fixing patches..  


Required Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related STEM field..  

- 0–2 years of professional Python software development or equivalent internships..  

- Solid grasp of supervised learning, overfitting mitigation, cross-validation, and metrics..  

- Experience with Git, GitHub Actions (or GitLab CI/CD), and semantic versioning..  

- Familiarity with Linux command line, Docker containers, and shell scripting..  

- Clear written and verbal communication—you translate math into plain English..  

- Eligibility to work in the United States..  


Preferred Extras

- Coursework or hobby projects using Hugging Face Transformers, OpenAI APIs, or LangChain..  

- Knowledge of AWS SageMaker, Google Vertex AI, or Azure Machine Learning..  

- Exposure to Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift analytics warehouses..  

- Contributions to Kaggle competitions, hackathons, or open-source repos..  

- Interest in ethical AI, bias detection, and responsible model governance..
