Expect variety: finance one week, e-commerce the next, healthcare the week after. Remote flexibility lets you contribute from anywhere in the United States.


Your Impact  

- Create, schedule, and fine-tune recurring reports that influence daily decisions.  

- Mine relational databases with clean, efficient SQL queries—no runaway joins on your watch.  

- Design interactive Tableau or Power BI dashboards that spotlight trends, anomalies, and opportunities.  

- Validate source data, reconcile discrepancies, and lock in single-source-of-truth standards.  

- Collaborate with product, marketing, and engineering teams to translate questions into measurable KPIs.  

- Document processes, data definitions, and business rules so future analysts can sprint instead of crawl.  

- Pilot A/B test measurement and present results in crisp, storytelling decks.  

- Continuously learn new BI tools, cloud data warehouses, and visualization techniques.


What You Need to Succeed  

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.  

- 0–2 years’ experience in reporting or business intelligence (internships welcome).  

- Proficient SQL—SELECT, JOIN, CTEs, window functions, indexes.  

- Solid Excel skills (pivot tables, Power Query, advanced formulas).  

- Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, or Looker; DAX or Tableau LOD calculations a plus.  

- Foundational understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL workflows.  

- Analytical mindset, eagle-eye attention to detail, and problem-solving drive.  

- Clear written and verbal communication; you translate data jargon into plain English.  

- Adaptable, inquisitive, eager to tackle ambiguity with structured thinking.


Tools You’ll Master  

- Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift  

- Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio  

- Git version control for SQL scripts  

- Excel with Power Pivot add-ins  

- Python or R for ad-hoc exploration (optional, but you’ll have chances to learn)
