Junior Product Analyst – Entry-Level Data & Product Insights
A venture-backed digital product studio builds consumer and enterprise solutions used by millions. The culture prizes curiosity, rigorous thinking, and measurable outcomes.
About the Role
You will sit at the intersection of data and product strategy. Working closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers, you will track key metrics, tell clear stories with numbers, and influence feature roadmaps. Remote-first collaboration lets you contribute from anywhere in the United States while engaging daily with seasoned mentors.
What You’ll Do
- Collect, clean, and validate large volumes of event-level data from SQL databases, analytics platforms, and spreadsheets.
- Design dashboards in Tableau or Looker that spotlight conversion, retention, and engagement trends.
- Maintain a living set of core product KPIs—DAU, MAU, activation rate, LTV, churn—and flag anomalies in real time.
- Partner with Product Managers to frame hypotheses, run A/B tests, and quantify impact.
- Transform complex findings into crisp reports, slide decks, and Slack briefs that push stakeholders to act.
- Document analytical processes so future teammates iterate faster.
- Stay alert to market benchmarks and competitor moves; inject external context into internal discussions.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or related field.
- 0-2 years’ experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data-driven product work (internships count).
- Solid command of Excel/Google Sheets—including pivot tables and advanced formulas.
- Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction and transformation.
- Familiarity with one visualization tool—Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Foundational understanding of product life cycle concepts and agile practices.
- Sharp attention to detail plus the grit to QA your own queries.
- Clear written and verbal communication; you translate metrics into plain language.
- Comfort juggling multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Growth mindset—you seek feedback, chase emerging tools, and experiment fearlessly.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to Python or R for deeper statistical analysis.
- Experience with Mixpanel, Amplitude, or Google Analytics 4.
- Knowledge of cohort analysis and retention curves.
- Participation in hackathons, case competitions, or open-source projects.
Why You’ll Thrive Here
- Mentorship from senior analysts who have shipped category-defining products.
- A data stack built on modern cloud infrastructure—Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran—so you spend time analyzing, not firefighting.
- Transparent decision-making and a bias for autonomy let your ideas shape real features... quickly.
- An inclusive, feedback-rich culture values every voice—especially fresh ones.
