Junior HR Support Specialist – Entry-Level HR Operations

You will collaborate with HR Generalists, Recruiters, and Payroll to ensure smooth employee experiences—wherever colleagues log in.
Your Mission
- Respond to day-to-day HR questions via Slack, email, and ticketing portals, ensuring service-level targets are met.
- Create, audit, and archive digital personnel records in BambooHR (or similar).
- Coordinate remote and on-site onboarding sessions—equipment orders, credential setup, orientation calendar.
- Update org charts and headcount reports; spot discrepancies and propose fixes.
- Schedule performance check-ins, training workshops, and benefits webinars.
- Draft policy acknowledgments, track e-signatures, and escalate compliance gaps.
- Monitor PTO balances, leave requests, and timekeeping exceptions; liaise with Payroll.
- Document process improvements and share playbooks in Confluence.
- Stay curious—absorb evolving employment laws, HR tech releases, and DEI best practices.
Your Toolkit
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field.
- 0-2 years of HR support, HRIS administration, or customer service experience.
- Working knowledge of G-Suite or Microsoft 365; confident with spreadsheets and formulas.
- Familiarity with at least one HR platform (BambooHR, Workday, UKG, Rippling).
- Clear, empathetic written and verbal communication.
- Sherlock-level attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a distributed team across U.S. time zones.
- Bonus: Basic Excel automation (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) or SQL for ad-hoc reports.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
