Junior Data Scientist (AI & ML)

Basically, we need someone who loves digging into data. It’s not about just running scripts. It's about asking the right questions and figuring out what the data is actually telling us. Some days you'll be cleaning up messy datasets (it's a big part of the job), other days you'll be building a predictive model from scratch.

Here’s what you’d actually be doing:

- Taking raw, sometimes ugly, datasets and cleaning them up so they're usable.

- Building, testing, and validating machine learning models. Some will work, some won't. We need you to figure out why.

- You'll use SQL a lot. A LOT.

- Visualizing your findings. You need to be able to build a dashboard in something like Tableau or Power BI that tells a clear story to people who aren't data scientists.

- Working with the team on different AI projects. This means lots of collaboration, not just solo coding.

Beyond that:

- You need to be able to write SQL queries that don't fall over on large tables.

- A good grasp of the basic machine learning concepts - regression, classification, that sort of thing. We're not expecting you to be an expert on day one.

- You have to be able to communicate. Seriously. You need to explain complex stuff to non-technical people without making their eyes glaze over.

- You’re a problem-solver. We have lots of interesting problems.
