Junior AI Consultant

Remotely
Full-time

You step into real projects from day one. With guidance from senior data scientists, you translate business pain points into deployable AI prototypes, test emerging tools, and refine models that drive measurable value. You work across finance, healthcare, retail, and government domains—no two challenges look alike.

What You’ll Do

- Analyze stakeholder requirements and reframe them as machine-learning tasks.

- Build lightweight proof-of-concepts in Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, PyTorch).

- Evaluate model performance; iterate using cross-validation and error analysis.

- Debug data pipelines, automate repeatable steps, and document key findings.

- Compare third-party AI APIs and recommend best-fit options—cost, latency, ethics.

- Collaborate with UX, DevOps, and product teams to integrate models into apps.

- Craft concise slide decks that explain complex results to non-technical audiences.

- Assist in workshops that train end users to trust and maintain delivered solutions.

What You Bring

- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Data Science, or related STEM discipline.

- 0–2 years’ experience—or impressive academic projects—using supervised and unsupervised learning.

- Proficiency in Python plus familiarity with SQL and Git.

- Solid grounding in statistics, linear algebra, and probability.

- Clear, audience-oriented communication—written, verbal, and visual.

- Curiosity to explore novel algorithms, LLMs, and prompt-engineering techniques.

- Adaptability to shift between solo deep-work and cross-functional teamwork.

- U.S. work authorization.

Why You’ll Thrive

This role accelerates your growth curve. You receive weekly mentorship, access to cloud GPU resources, and opportunities to publish internal blog posts. As projects rotate, you accumulate a versatile portfolio that positions you for mid-level AI engineering, data science, or product strategy paths.
