Remote Junior Prompt Engineer (Generative AI&LLM)

What You Will Do
- Craft, iterate, and refine sophisticated prompts to guide and constrain Large Language Model (LLM) responses for optimal performance and accuracy.
- Systematically test and analyze AI model outputs to identify biases, hallucinations, inaccuracies, and other areas for improvement.
- Debug unexpected or problematic AI behaviors by meticulously adjusting prompt inputs, parameters, and interaction strategies.
- Collaborate with software developers, data scientists, and product managers to integrate and support LLM applications across various projects.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive library of effective prompts and interaction strategies—*a core asset for the entire team*.
- Document your findings, methodologies, and best practices to contribute to our collective knowledge base on prompt engineering.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in generative AI, NLP, and prompt design techniques to continuously enhance our capabilities.
Who You Are
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Data Science, Cognitive Science, or a related technical field.
- You have demonstrable experience with Python, particularly for scripting, data manipulation (using libraries like Pandas), and interacting with APIs.
- You possess a foundational understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP) concepts and machine learning principles.
- You have exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with a unique talent for deconstructing complex issues and thinking critically.
- Your communication skills, both written and verbal, are superb, with a distinct ability to articulate technical concepts with clarity.
- You are inherently creative and adaptable, allowing you to explore novel approaches to human-AI interaction.
- Experience with version control systems (like Git) is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with major LLM APIs (such as those from OpenAI, Google, or Anthropic) is a significant plus.
