Your Key Responsibilities

- Generate and dispatch accurate customer invoices in a timely manner, adhering to company policies and client agreements.

- Perform high-volume data entry for all billing-related information into our financial systems with an exceptional degree of accuracy.

- Diligently maintain and organize digital billing records, including invoices, contracts, and correspondence, for auditing and reference purposes.

- Serve as a primary point of contact for billing inquiries, professionally addressing and resolving customer questions or discrepancies.

- Provide essential support to the broader accounts team, assisting with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting tasks.

- Meticulously track incoming payments, apply them to the correct accounts, and follow up on any overdue balances.

- Liaise with internal departments (like Sales and Support) to verify billing details and ensure the integrity of financial data.

- Prepare and present regular reports on billing status and accounts receivable aging to management.


Required Qualifications

- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a closely related field.

- Unwavering attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy even when handling large volumes of data.

- High proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with Microsoft Excel (experience with formulas, VLOOKUPs, and pivot tables is crucial).

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.

- Superb organizational and time-management abilities, with a proven capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, these qualifications will help you excel and make an immediate impact.

- Previous internship or up to 1 year of experience in a billing, accounts receivable, or similar accounting role.

- Hands-on experience with modern accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Bill.com, or similar platforms.

- A solid understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP).

- Demonstrated customer service experience, particularly in resolving financial inquiries.
