Junior Web Developer – HTML, CSS & JavaScript Entry Role

Remotely
Full-time

You want that first real coding job—one that lets you write production HTML, CSS, and JavaScript while learning from senior engineers. Join a product team that ships customer-facing features every sprint and treats junior talent as future tech leaders.

About the Company

A fast-growing digital product studio delivers e-commerce, media, and fintech platforms for nationwide clients. The culture prizes clean code, design thinking, and transparent feedback. Flat hierarchy, pair programming, weekly demos, and continuous integration keep momentum high.

What You’ll Tackle

- Build new web pages and components with semantic HTML5, CSS3, and vanilla JavaScript ES6+.

- Refactor legacy markup for accessibility, performance, and responsive design.

- Integrate REST APIs and JSON data into dynamic user interfaces.

- Execute cross-browser and mobile testing; diagnose and debug UI defects.

- Collaborate with UX designers, QA analysts, and product owners in Agile sprints.

- Document code, decisions, and tech debt in Markdown and GitHub issues.

- Stay current on frameworks (React basics, Tailwind, Vite) and tooling trends.

What Sets You Up for Success

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar.

- Portfolio or GitHub repo showing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript projects.

- Working knowledge of Git, command line, and pull requests.

- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design patterns.

- Solid problem-solving mindset and willingness to ask questions.

- Clear written and verbal communication; comfort in code reviews.

Growth Path

First month, you shadow code reviews and push small UI fixes. By month three, you own a feature backlog and demo to stakeholders. In six months, you mentor interns, automate tests, and propose performance tweaks. The roadmap beyond includes specialized tracks in React development, full-stack Node, or DevOps—your call.

How We Collaborate

Daily stand-ups and asynchronous updates keep everyone aligned—no needless meetings. Pair sessions happen via screen share; design hand-offs flow through Figma links and Zeplin specs. Sprint retros dig into wins and misses with candor, ensuring continuous improvement for both code and people.

The challenge is real, the support is constant, and the learning curve is steep—exactly what propels a junior developer into an in-demand professional. Ready to craft code that users actually touch? Apply today and start shipping tomorrow.
