Your Impact as a UI Designer

- Translate user requirements, user stories, and wireframes into polished, intuitive, and functional user interfaces.

- Create a range of design artifacts—including high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and detailed visual design specifications—using tools like Figma.

- Collaborate closely with a cross-functional team of product managers, UX designers, and front-end developers to ensure the seamless and precise implementation of your designs.

- Contribute to and help maintain our evolving design system and component libraries, ensuring visual consistency and brand alignment across all digital platforms.

- Actively participate in usability testing sessions for new and existing UI elements, then thoughtfully iterate on your designs based on user feedback and performance data.

- Prepare and present your design drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders, confidently articulating the rationale behind your design decisions.

- Meticulously document all design choices, style guides, and interaction patterns to create a shared source of truth for the entire product organization.

- Stay current with the latest UI trends, emerging design techniques, and new technologies to continuously bring fresh, innovative ideas to the team.


Core Qualifications

- A Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Digital Arts, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.

- A compelling online portfolio showcasing your UI design projects. It should demonstrate a strong grasp of visual design fundamentals (e.g., typography, color theory, grid systems, and layout).

- Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools, *especially Figma*. Demonstrable experience with Sketch or Adobe XD is a significant advantage.

- A solid, foundational understanding of user-centered design principles and the importance of usability in product development.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to both articulate your design concepts and graciously receive constructive feedback.

- A meticulous, almost obsessive, attention to detail and a genuine passion for creating pixel-perfect, polished user interfaces.

- A proactive and curious mindset... you are someone with a strong desire to learn, experiment, and grow professionally within the UI design field.

- Familiarity with responsive design principles and best practices for creating seamless experiences across web, tablet, and mobile applications.


What Sets You Apart

- Previous internship or freelance experience in a UI, UX, or product design role.

- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and an understanding of how digital designs are ultimately translated into functional code by developers.

- An interest in or experience with accessibility (A11Y) standards and inclusive design practices (e.g., WCAG).

- Experience with creating simple animations or micro-interactions using tools like After Effects, Principle, or Figma's built-in features.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and collaboration software such as Jira or Trello.
