Junior UAT Tester - Remote

Your Mission as a UAT Tester

- Execute detailed user acceptance testing (UAT) test cases and exploratory testing scenarios.

- Validate that software solutions precisely meet business requirements and user stories.

- Identify, document, and meticulously track defects using modern bug tracking systems (like JIRA).

- Collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and business analysts to communicate your findings.

- Verify bug fixes and perform targeted regression testing to ensure system stability has not been compromised.

- Maintain comprehensive test logs and create crystal-clear documentation of test results and user feedback.

- Provide critical, constructive feedback from an authentic end-user perspective.

- Support the final go-live process to guarantee smooth, successful product launches.

What You Bring to the Table

- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field.

- An exceptional eye for detail - you notice the small inconsistencies that others might miss.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Can you connect the dots and diagnose root causes?

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear stakeholder collaboration and defect reporting.

- A proactive and adaptable mindset, with a genuine desire to learn and master UAT methodologies.

- The discipline and self-motivation to work independently in a remote setting while being a collaborative team player.

- A foundational understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), especially within Agile or Scrum frameworks.

- No prior professional experience is required, but a demonstrable familiarity with general testing concepts is a significant advantage.
