Junior Records Clerk (Document Management)
This is a new position on a growing team. You'll report directly to the Information Governance Manager and work alongside two other administrative pros. We're a straightforward group - minimal red tape, no pointless meetings. We just want to get the work done right.
Your Impact:
- You'll spend a good chunk of time on data entry and making sure our main database is clean and correct. Accuracy is everything here.
- Digitizing documents using our scanners and software (we use Adobe Acrobat Pro for OCR). There's a backlog to get through, so you'll see immediate progress.
- Responding to retrieval requests. Someone from the sales team needs a contract from 2022? You're the one who can find it in 60 seconds.
- Helping maintain our Electronic Document Management System (EDMS). We use a system similar to DocuWare or M-Files, and you'll become an expert in it.
- General records lifecycle management- from creation to archival to eventual destruction, all according to policy.
What we're looking for:
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree is a big plus. Something in Information Management, Business, or a related field is ideal.
- You have to be meticulous. Like, really, really detail-oriented. You spot the typo or the misplaced file that everyone else misses.
- Decent with technology. You're quick to learn new software and you're no stranger to Microsoft 365, especially Excel and SharePoint.
- Good communication skills. You'll be getting requests from lots of different people. You need to be able to communicate clearly and professionally.
- You can manage your own time. With remote flexibility comes the responsibility to stay on task without someone looking over your shoulder.
