Your Impact as a QA Engineer
- Develop, document, and maintain comprehensive test cases and test plans to ensure full requirement coverage.
- Execute a variety of tests—including functional, regression, and integration tests—across multiple platforms and devices.
- Identify, document, and meticulously track software defects and inconsistencies in our bug tracking system (such as Jira).
- Collaborate closely with software developers and product managers to understand requirements and expediently resolve issues.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining robust test environments for effective quality assurance cycles.
- Verify bug fixes and conduct thorough regression testing to ensure solutions are sound and have not introduced new problems.
- Support the QA automation team by running automated test scripts, analyzing the results, and reporting on the outcomes.
- Actively learn and apply modern QA frameworks and sophisticated testing tools to continuously grow your professional skills.
What You Bring to the Table
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field is required.
- A solid foundational understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and modern QA methodologies (especially Agile and Scrum).
- Demonstrable experience or academic project work in writing clear, concise, and effective test cases and test plans.
- Familiarity with the purpose and function of bug tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities paired with a meticulous, uncompromising attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset that thrives on feedback.
- A keen interest in or basic exposure to test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) is a significant plus.
- Some familiarity with API testing tools—like Postman or Insomnia—is highly desirable for this position.
- High adaptability and a palpable eagerness to learn new technologies in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
