Junior Mailroom Clerk – Entry-Level Office & Data Support

What You’ll Do
- Sort, label, and route incoming mail and courier deliveries within strict timeframes.
- Prepare outgoing USPS, FedEx, and interoffice shipments—select carriers, weigh parcels, print tracking labels.
- Log every envelope, box, and certified letter into Excel or an internal tracking app.
- Maintain supply levels for envelopes, packaging, toner, and address labels; reorder proactively.
- Scan bills of lading, purchase orders, and legal documents for electronic archiving.
- File physical records alphabetically—ensure chain-of-custody compliance.
- Answer shipping inquiries, escalate complex issues, and schedule same-day pickups.
- Coordinate with security on after-hours access for high-value deliveries.
- Assist administrative staff with copying, binding, or conference-room setups.
- Suggest workflow tweaks that cut cycle time or boost accuracy.
Skills You Bring
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, or related field.
- Keen organization and time-management abilities—you juggle multiple deadlines calmly.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word templates, Excel functions, Outlook flags).
- Accurate keyboarding and data-entry speed of 45 wpm or higher.
- Solid written and verbal communication; you clarify requirements fast.

- Problem-solving attitude; you spot an address error before it creates a delay.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.
