Key Responsibilities  

- Craft clean, on-brand page layouts for magazines, e-commerce campaigns, and interactive PDFs.  

- Arrange imagery, typography, and whitespace to maximize readability and visual impact.  

- Revise compositions in response to editor feedback while safeguarding brand guidelines.  

- Prepare press-ready files, convert color spaces, and embed fonts for flawless production.  

- Research visual trends, competitor ads, and market benchmarks, then translate findings into fresh concepts.  

- Present mock-ups to cross-functional stakeholders, defend design rationale, and iterate rapidly.  

- Collaborate daily with writers, developers, and motion designers in an Agile workflow.  

- Maintain a shared component library and document style decisions for future teammates.  

- Explore new layout tools—Figma, Affinity Publisher, XD—to expand your creative range.  


Required Skills & Qualifications  

- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related discipline.  

- 0-2 years’ professional or internship experience producing multi-page layouts.  

- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign; working knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop.  

- Understanding of typographic hierarchy, grid systems, and color theory.  

- Command of prepress fundamentals: bleed, slug, trim, resolution, and ICC profiles.  

- Ability to interpret creative briefs, meet tight deadlines, and juggle several projects.  

- Strong written and verbal communication; present ideas with clarity and confidence.  

- Comfortable working remote with version-control tools (Git, Abstract, or similar).  


Desirable Extras  

- Familiarity with HTML/CSS for responsive email or landing-page templates.  

- Exposure to data-driven design, A/B testing, or accessibility guidelines (WCAG).  

- Portfolio showcasing editorial spreads, lookbooks, or social ad carousels.
