Junior Interaction Designer
Position filledKey Duties
- Translate product requirements into low-, mid-, and high-fidelity wireframes.
- Build interactive prototypes in Figma, Sketch, or InVision, iterating quickly.
- Conduct hallway and remote usability tests - analyze patterns, synthesize findings, recommend changes.
- Partner with UX researchers, visual designers, engineers, and product owners in Agile sprints.
- Document interaction patterns, accessibility guidelines, and responsive behaviors for design systems.
- Maintain pixel-perfect consistency across multiple device sizes and platforms.
- Track design metrics, monitor user flows, and propose enhancements using analytics dashboards.
- Stay current with WCAG 2.2, Material Design, and Apple Human Interface guidelines.
- Continually learn emerging tools such as, ProtoPie, and FigJam.
Your Skill Set
- Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Cognitive Science, or related field.
- Portfolio demonstrating interaction flows, annotated wireframes, and clickable prototypes.
- Proficiency with Figma and at least one additional tool (Sketch, XD, Axure).
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript - enough to converse with engineers.
- Familiarity with usability heuristics, A/B testing, and analytics platforms (Hotjar, Mixpanel).
- Clear written and verbal communication - you explain design rationales to both technical and non-technical peers.
- Meticulous attention to detail balanced by the flexibility to pivot when user data shifts.
- Enthusiasm for remote collaboration software: Slack, Miro, Jira, Confluence.
- Growth mindset; you actively seek feedback and transform insights into action.
