Junior Interaction Designer

Remotely
Full-time

You will join a multidisciplinary design group shaping customer-facing web and mobile products for commerce, healthcare, gaming, and media. Mentored by senior UX strategists, you’ll gain hands-on experience in interaction design while influencing features used by millions.

Key Duties

- Translate product requirements into low-, mid-, and high-fidelity wireframes.

- Build interactive prototypes in Figma, Sketch, or InVision, iterating quickly.

- Conduct hallway and remote usability tests—analyze patterns, synthesize findings, recommend changes.

- Partner with UX researchers, visual designers, engineers, and product owners in Agile sprints.

- Document interaction patterns, accessibility guidelines, and responsive behaviors for design systems.

- Maintain pixel-perfect consistency across multiple device sizes and platforms.

- Track design metrics, monitor user flows, and propose enhancements using analytics dashboards.

- Stay current with WCAG 2.2, Material Design, and Apple Human Interface guidelines.

- Continually learn emerging tools such as Framer, ProtoPie, and FigJam.

Your Skill Set

- Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Cognitive Science, or related field.

- Portfolio demonstrating interaction flows, annotated wireframes, and clickable prototypes.

- Proficiency with Figma and at least one additional tool (Sketch, XD, Axure).

- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript—enough to converse with engineers.

- Familiarity with usability heuristics, A/B testing, and analytics platforms (Hotjar, Mixpanel).

- Clear written and verbal communication—you explain design rationales to both technical and non-technical peers.

- Meticulous attention to detail balanced by the flexibility to pivot when user data shifts.

- Enthusiasm for remote collaboration software: Slack, Miro, Jira, Confluence.

- Growth mindset; you actively seek feedback and transform insights into action.

Growth & Learning

This position offers structured mentorship, monthly design critiques, access to paid courses, and conference stipends. You’ll refine your craft, build cross-functional influence, and prepare for mid-level UX roles faster than traditional tracks.

Why You’ll Thrive

Projects move briskly—yet quality never slips. Ideas win on evidence. Diversity of thought is celebrated. And because the team values life outside the pixel grid, you can choose fully remote, hybrid, or in-studio schedules that keep creativity fresh.
