What Your Role Will Entail

- Act as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries, providing timely and empathetic responses regarding benefits, payroll, company policies, and other HR-related matters.

- Support the entire employee lifecycle by assisting with the seamless onboarding of new team members and conducting smooth offboarding procedures.

- Maintain meticulous and confidential employee records within our Human Resources Information System (HRIS), ensuring data integrity and accuracy for all personnel changes.

- Assist the talent acquisition team by posting job descriptions, screening initial applications, and coordinating interview schedules to help us find the best talent.

- Contribute to the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives, during open enrollment and throughout the year.

- Help ensure company-wide compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations... a critical function for our distributed team.

- Collaborate on the development and execution of HR programs and employee engagement initiatives designed to foster a positive and inclusive remote work culture.

- Generate and prepare routine HR reports by tracking key metrics (like turnover and time-to-hire) to provide valuable insights for strategic decision-making.

- Document HR processes and workflows, creating and updating guides that enhance the efficiency and consistency of our People Operations team.


What You'll Bring to the Table

- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.

- 0-2 years of experience in an HR role or a relevant internship; we are passionate about nurturing new talent and providing a path for growth.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion.

- A strong sense of ownership and outstanding organizational skills—you can manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities without missing a single detail.

- Foundational knowledge of core HR principles, including compliance basics, recruitment fundamentals, and employee relations.

- Tech-savvy and proficient with office productivity suites (like Google Workspace or Microsoft Office) and comfortable learning new software; prior experience with an HRIS or ATS is a major plus.

- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a relentless desire to learn and grow within the Human Resources field.

- The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fully remote environment, demonstrating reliability and strong time-management skills.
