Junior E-commerce Developer | Build Online Stores

We are seeking a motivated Junior E-commerce Developer to join our innovative team. What You Will Do

- Develop and customize responsive themes and features for leading e-commerce platforms like Shopify, Magento, or BigCommerce.

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code in languages such as JavaScript and PHP to build exceptional user-facing experiences.

- Implement and troubleshoot secure payment gateway integrations - for example, Stripe and PayPal - to ensure seamless and reliable customer transactions.

- Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, project managers, and senior developers in an agile environment to translate design mockups and requirements into functional online stores.

- Debug and resolve technical issues across various browsers and devices, ensuring a flawless shopping experience for all users.

- Assist in optimizing website performance, focusing on key metrics like site speed and Core Web Vitals to enhance user engagement and conversion rates.

- Maintain and support existing e-commerce sites, performing routine updates, bug fixes, and feature enhancements.

- Contribute to technical documentation for code, APIs, and internal processes to support team knowledge sharing and future development.

What You Will Bring

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- A solid foundation in modern web development technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).

- Hands-on experience or academic projects involving e-commerce platforms such as Shopify (Liquid), Magento, or WooCommerce.

- An understanding of server-side programming, preferably with PHP, as it relates to e-commerce back-end functionality.

- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git and common workflows (Git Flow).

- A natural curiosity and strong problem-solving ability, you know how to investigate an issue and find the right solution.

- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to team members.

- Basic knowledge of UI/UX principles and a commitment to creating intuitive and accessible user interfaces.
