Your Role and Impact

- You will operate advanced document imaging systems to convert vast quantities of physical paperwork into high-quality, legible digital formats.

- You'll be responsible for performing rigorous quality assurance checks on all scanned materials, guaranteeing that every page is captured with perfect clarity.

- Your day will involve precise data entry and metadata tagging within our Electronic Document Management System (EDMS), making documents easily searchable and retrievable.

- You will architect and maintain the digital filing infrastructure, organizing records into a logical and intuitive taxonomy that supports company-wide efficiency.

- You will manage and track the lifecycle of physical and digital documents, ensuring a complete chain of custody from receipt to archival or certified destruction.

- You will serve as a key resource for team members, assisting with document retrieval requests and providing support for our records management systems.

- You will assist in maintaining our archival systems, ensuring that long-term records are preserved according to industry regulations and company policy.

- You will contribute to process improvement initiatives, offering insights on how to enhance document workflows and system efficiencies.


What You Bring to the Table

- A Bachelor’s or Associate's degree in Information Systems, Records Management, Library Science, or a related field is strongly preferred.

- Foundational understanding of digital filing systems, database principles, and information governance concepts.

- Demonstrable proficiency with the Microsoft 365 suite, particularly Excel, for data organization, tracking, and basic reporting.

- Hands-on experience with scanning hardware and familiarity with Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software (e.g., ABBYY FineReader, Kofax) is a significant advantage.

- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively in a remote environment.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with internal stakeholders and clearly documenting procedures.
