Key Responsibilities  

- Write concise, high-impact ad copy for websites, email flows, social media, and product pages.  

- Translate creative briefs into memorable headlines, CTAs, and microcopy.  

- Research brand voice guidelines, buyer personas, and competitor language to maintain tonal consistency.  

- Collaborate daily with designers, product managers, and growth marketers to align copy with visuals and UX.  

- Revise text swiftly in response to stakeholder feedback, A/B test data, and SEO insights.  

- Maintain a living copy library—tagging, versioning, and archiving assets for future reuse.  

- Track campaign performance metrics, noting where phrasing elevates click-through and where it falls short.  

- Stay current on AI-assisted writing tools, emerging content trends, and FTC disclosure standards.  

- Document creative concepts, style decisions, and messaging frameworks for team knowledge sharing.  


Core Requirements  

- Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or related field.  

- 0-2 years’ experience writing marketing or advertising copy—internships count.  

- Portfolio showing headlines, short-form ads, or blog snippets that demonstrate clarity and creativity.  

- Command of grammar, syntax, and AP style; keen eye for proofreading.  

- Familiarity with SEO basics: keyword intent, meta tags, on-page optimization.  

- Proficiency with Google Docs, Microsoft 365, or similar collaborative writing suites.  

- Comfortable juggling multiple deadlines in an iterative, feedback-heavy workflow.  

- Strong verbal communication skills—able to defend word choices and accept critique.  


Preferred Extras  

- Exposure to SaaS, fintech, or e-commerce terminology.  

- Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify) or marketing automation tools.  

- Understanding of accessibility copy standards and inclusive language practices.  

- Curiosity about generative AI and how it augments human creativity.
