Junior Content Creator
You’re a recent graduate who lives and breathes digital storytelling. As a Junior Content Creator, you’ll research trends, draft scroll-stopping posts, and repurpose assets for blogs, socials, video, and email. You’ll collaborate with designers, marketers, and analysts to sharpen campaigns that convert. Your words—and occasional motion graphics—will strengthen a consistent brand voice across every touchpoint.
What You’ll Do
- Produce daily social media captions, blog snippets, and short-form video scripts that align with style guidelines.
- Maintain an organized content calendar—anticipate launches, holidays, and viral moments.
- Investigate industry trends, hashtags, and audience insights to inform fresh concepts.
- Optimize copy for SEO, readability, and engagement metrics (CTR, watch time, share rate).
- Coordinate with graphic design to match visuals with messaging.
- Track post performance in dashboards, summarize findings, and suggest iterative improvements.
- Document brainstorming sessions, creative briefs, and post-mortems for easy knowledge sharing.
- Experiment with emerging tools—AI writing assistants, lightweight editing suites, social schedulers.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, English, or related discipline.
- Portfolio showcasing crisp writing, persuasive storytelling, and clear understanding of social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn).
- Familiarity with content management systems and basic HTML.
- Command of Google Analytics or equivalent to interpret traffic patterns.
- Superior attention to detail; you catch typos before they trend.
- Adaptive mindset—comfortable juggling priorities in a start-up-speed environment.
- Excellent interpersonal communication; you thrive in cross-functional squads.
Preferred Skills
- Video editing with CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or Adobe Premiere Rush.
- Graphic tweaks in Canva, Figma, or Adobe Express.
- Foundational SEO knowledge: keyword research, on-page optimization, SERP analysis.
- Experience using generative AI (ChatGPT, Midjourney) to ideate, not duplicate, content.
- Understanding of accessibility guidelines (WCAG) for inclusive posts.
