Junior Back-End Developer – Entry-Level Software Engineer

You will code, test, and refine back-end services that power web and mobile apps used by millions. Expect diverse projects in e-commerce, finance, healthcare, and gaming. Your day includes stand-ups, pair programming, and deep dives into performance data… variety keeps boredom at bay!  

Key Responsibilities  

- Design and implement RESTful and GraphQL endpoints in Node.js, Python, or Java.  

- Write efficient SQL queries and craft NoSQL schemas that scale gracefully.  

- Integrate AWS services (Lambda, RDS, S3) and containerize workloads with Docker.  

- Debug race conditions, optimize latency, and eliminate memory leaks.  

- Harden authentication flows using OAuth 2.0 and JWT while applying OWASP guidelines.  

- Collaborate with front-end, DevOps, and QA teams to ship features continuously.  

- Document architecture, data models, and deployment runbooks for future maintainers.  

- Participate in code reviews to uphold style, readability, and test coverage standards.  

- Monitor application health with CloudWatch and Grafana dashboards, reacting to anomalies.  

- Contribute fresh ideas during sprint planning — your voice matters from day one.  

Your Skill Set  

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or comparable field.  

- 0-2 years of professional back-end experience; internships count.  

- Proficiency in at least one language: JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java.  

- Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL stores (MongoDB, DynamoDB).  

- Solid Git workflow and comfort with pull requests.  

- Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub Actions or Jenkins.  

- Understanding of cloud fundamentals, especially AWS or GCP.  

- Clear, concise communicator who enjoys teamwork and iterative feedback.
