Key Responsibilities  

- Provide first-line troubleshooting for hardware, software, printers, and network connectivity, escalating complex issues when needed.  

- Maintain electronic and paper filing systems; ensure version control and easy retrieval.  

- Execute accurate data entry into ERPs, CRMs, and cloud spreadsheets in compliance with internal standards.  

- Monitor ticket queues; document incidents, resolutions, and preventive actions in the knowledge base.  

- Support Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace updates, patches, and user provisioning.  

- Coordinate meeting logistics—virtual rooms, audiovisual setups, calendars, and follow-up minutes.  

- Track office and IT inventory; place replenishment orders and verify deliveries.  

- Assist with onboarding—account creation, equipment preparation, and orientation materials.  

- Generate weekly status reports summarizing ticket metrics, system health, and process gaps.  

- Champion security hygiene by guiding colleagues on passwords, phishing awareness, and data handling.  


Required Qualifications  

- Associate’s degree or higher in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.  

- 0-2 years of experience in help desk, office coordination, or internship combining both.  

- Solid grasp of Windows 11, macOS, and mobile operating systems.  

- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel functions (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and Word document formatting.  

- Familiarity with ticketing tools such as Jira Service Management or ServiceNow.  

- Typing speed ≥45 WPM with high accuracy; eagle-eyed attention to detail.  

- Clear, professional verbal and written communication; comfort explaining technical steps to non-technical staff.  

- Proven time-management skills—juggle competing requests without dropping the ball.  

- Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.  


Desirable Extras  

- CompTIA A+, Google IT Support, or similar certification.  

- Introductory scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) to automate recurring tasks.  

- Exposure to collaboration suites like Slack, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams administration.  

- Experience supporting HIPAA, FERPA, or SOX compliance documentation.
