HR Administrator (Junior)
We're a remote-first tech company with about 150 people spread across the US. The People Ops team is small but mighty - you'll be the third person, reporting directly to the HR Manager.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
- Keep our employee data squeaky clean and up-to-date in our HRIS (we use BambooHR).
- Handle the flow of new hire paperwork, benefits enrollment forms, and other crucial documents. This requires a sharp eye.
- Act as the first point of contact for routine employee questions. You'll be the go-to person for things like PTO policies or finding the right form.
- Help schedule interviews and make sure our virtual onboarding for new hires is a great experience.
- Assist in documenting our HR processes. We're always looking for ways to work smarter, not harder.
- Tidy up our digital employee files and help us stay compliant with all the necessary regulations.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or something similar.
- A near-obsessive attention to detail. You're the person who always catches that one small error.
- Great communication skills. You can write a clear email and are comfortable talking to people.
- A genuine desire to help people and solve problems. You're a team player, through and through.
- You're comfortable with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
- Any prior internship in an HR or administrative role is a huge plus, but not a dealbreaker.
