Full-time

An independent U.S. technology consultancy transforms scattered information into strategic guidance. You will join a lean analytics squad that values curiosity, autonomy, and integrity—no bureaucratic detours, only measurable impact.

About the Role

In this entry-level insights data analyst position, you will explore diverse datasets, surface hidden patterns, and deliver crisp visual narratives that steer product, marketing, and finance strategies. You will gain end-to-end project exposure—from data ingestion to executive presentation—while collaborating with senior analysts, engineers, and domain experts.

What You’ll Do

- Collect, clean, and validate structured and semi-structured data from SQL databases, APIs, and spreadsheets.

- Build reproducible queries (PostgreSQL, MySQL, BigQuery) to monitor KPIs and highlight anomalies.

- Design interactive dashboards in Tableau or Power BI that reveal trends at a glance.

- Distil complex findings into concise slide decks and one-page briefs for non-technical stakeholders.

- Partner with product owners to translate insights into A/B tests, pricing tweaks, or UX improvements.

- Maintain a central data dictionary and document all analytical assumptions.

- Champion data quality—spot inconsistencies, propose schema fixes, automate validation scripts.

- Continuously refine your analytical toolkit through pair-coding sessions, lunch-and-learns, and mentor feedback.

What You Bring

- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.

- Proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, VBA macros).

- Solid SQL fundamentals—joins, window functions, CTEs, indexing strategies.

- Familiarity with a BI platform (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and basic DAX or visualization best practices.

- Working knowledge of Python or R for data wrangling and exploratory analysis.

- Strong storytelling mindset: you translate metrics into business narratives.

- Meticulous attention to detail plus the agility to juggle shifting priorities.

- Clear, inclusive communication style—written and verbal.

Nice to Have

- Git version control know-how.

- Exposure to cloud warehouses such as Snowflake or Redshift.

- Experience with statistical modeling or experimentation frameworks.

- Understanding of GA4, Mixpanel, or similar web analytics tools.

- Participation in Kaggle contests, hackathons, or university research labs.

Why You’ll Thrive Here

- 100 % remote work within U.S. time zones.

- Starter projects designed for rapid skill acceleration.

- Access to senior mentors and an annual education budget.

- Culture that applauds inquisitiveness, rewards initiative, and celebrates data-driven wins.
