Entry-Level HR Generalist – Associate People Operations, Remote

Your Daily Challenges
- Maintain accurate, audit-ready employee records in BambooHR and Google Workspace.
- Guide new hires through a seamless remote onboarding journey—hardware, credentials, paperwork, culture touchpoints.
- Respond to HR inquiries, explaining policies with clarity and empathy.
- Coordinate monthly compliance training (Harassment Prevention, OSHA, SOC 2) and track completion metrics.
- Assist recruiters by scheduling screens, updating ATS statuses, and nurturing candidate experience.
- Generate dashboards on turnover, head-count, and DEI metrics using Excel or Sheets.
- Draft and update handbook content; flag gaps against federal, state, and local regulations.
- Partner with Payroll to validate timecards and benefits deductions before each cycle.
Must-Have Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field.
- 0-2 years of HR or people-ops experience (internships count).
- Working knowledge of FLSA, EEOC, and ADA basics.
- Fluency with HRIS platforms (BambooHR, UKG, ADP Workforce Now) or equivalent coursework.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets—pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas.
- Clear, concise communication; you translate policy into plain English.
- Impeccable attention to detail and confidentiality.
Nice-to-Have Extras
- Exposure to ATS systems such as Greenhouse or Lever.
- Familiarity with Slack workflows and Notion wikis.
- Experience crafting surveys in Qualtrics or Google Forms.
- Spanish or Mandarin language skills.
