Entry-Level Business Analyst

As an entry-level Business Analyst focusing on banking products and precious metals, you will gather requirements, define functional specifications, and support end-to-end system testing. You thrive on analytical thinking and cross-team collaboration. You are passionate about mastering BPMN, UML, SQL, and stakeholder management to ensure successful project delivery.


Key Responsibilities

- Analyze existing processes and draft comprehensive functional requirements, user stories, and detailed acceptance criteria.

- Develop comprehensive process models and flowcharts using BPMN, UML, or Microsoft Visio—documenting current and future-state workflows.

- Support iterative Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives—ensuring alignment between business needs and technical deliverables.

- Document regulatory compliance considerations, ensuring adherence to AML, KYC, Basel III, GDPR, and other financial-industry standards.

- Maintain and update project documentation in Jira and Confluence, managing version control and change requests.

- Provide insightful data analysis using SQL querying, advanced MS Excel functions, and pivot tables to generate reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators.

- Coordinate cross-departmental workshops to align technical and business objectives, fostering stakeholder engagement.

- Monitor project progress, prepare status reports, and escalate risks or issues to project leads as needed.

- Assist in solution deployment and gather post-implementation feedback to refine future releases.


Required Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

- Proficiency in requirements modeling tools: BPMN, UML, Microsoft Visio, or equivalent.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.

- Basic SQL querying capabilities and advanced MS Excel skills, including pivot tables, macros, and charting.

- Analytical mindset, strong attention to detail, and structured problem-solving approach.


Nice to Have

- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks: Basel III, GDPR, PCI DSS.

- Exposure to data visualization platforms like Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.

- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, Dynamics 365) and API specifications for RESTful services.
