Responsibilities  

- Clean, normalize, and merge structured and semi-structured data from multiple sources.  

- Build automated Excel and Google Sheets reports that update key performance indicators daily.  

- Write simple SQL queries to extract datasets for ad-hoc questions and recurring dashboards.  

- Visualize trends in Tableau or Power BI, choosing the best chart types for clarity and impact.  

- Document data definitions, calculation logic, and assumptions in a shared Confluence space.  

- Track metric movements, flag anomalies, and suggest hypotheses worth deeper analysis.  

- Present concise findings—both verbally and in slide decks—to cross-functional partners.  

- Shadow senior analysts on A/B test design, statistical significance checks, and cohort studies.  

- Stay current on analytics tools, cloud data warehouses, and privacy regulations.  


Minimum Qualifications  

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related STEM field.  

- Proficiency with Excel functions (VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, pivot tables) and basic data cleaning.  

- Introductory SQL knowledge—SELECT, WHERE, GROUP BY, JOIN—in any relational database.  

- Ability to explain patterns in plain English and tailor depth to the audience.  

- Meticulous attention to detail; you validate totals before sharing numbers.  

- Strong time-management skills; you juggle several tasks without missing deadlines.  


Preferred (Not Required)  

- Coursework or project experience in Python (pandas, numpy) or R.  

- Familiarity with BI platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.  

- Exposure to cloud data ecosystems (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift).  

- Knowledge of A/B testing concepts and basic statistical inference.
