Associate Project Manager

About the role
You will guide small, cross-functional initiatives from kickoff to delivery. Expect to coordinate tasks, track milestones, document progress, and keep everyone—from engineers to marketing analysts—moving in lockstep. This fully remote role reports to a Senior Project Manager and partners closely with product, design, and QA.
What you’ll do
- Create and maintain project schedules, risk logs, and decision registers.
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and stakeholder updates.
- Capture meeting minutes and convert them into actionable tasks.
- Monitor budget burn and flag variances early.
- Remove blockers by negotiating priorities and resources.
- Prepare concise status dashboards for executives.
- Support continuous improvement by analyzing retrospectives.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field.
- 0-2 years of project coordination or internship experience.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Working knowledge of Jira, Asana, or MS Project.
- Strong command of Excel or Google Sheets for basic cost tracking.
- Superb written and verbal communication—clear, diplomatic, and concise.
- Ability to juggle multiple deadlines without losing accuracy.
- PMP-CAPM study or certification (nice to have).
- Passion for learning modern frameworks such as SAFe, Scrum, Kanban.
