Assistant Manager Trainee – Early-Career Leadership Program
In this immersive track, you rotate through core operational areas—retail ops, finance dashboards, analytics hubs, and service desks. You’ll partner directly with senior leadership, refine data-driven decision making, and practice people management in day-to-day scenarios (remote collaboration tools included).
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate weekly staff schedules using modern workforce-management software.
- Support daily operations—opening checklists, closing reports, cash reconciliation.
- Handle customer inquiries across phone, chat, and social channels, ensuring swift resolution.
- Monitor inventory levels, trigger automated re-orders, and reconcile discrepancies.
- Track sales metrics in cloud dashboards; flag trends, variances, and wins.
- Maintain strict policy compliance—health, safety, security, data privacy.
- Collaborate with management on process improvements, SOP documentation, and change roll-outs.
- Coach and onboard new hires, pairing them with micro-learning modules.
- Resolve emergent issues—escalation triage, stakeholder communication, post-mortem analysis.
- Champion continuous improvement projects that boost customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree—business, management, hospitality, or related field.
- 0-2 years’ experience in customer-facing or operations roles (internships count).
- Proficient with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and at least one ERP or POS platform.
- Clear, persuasive communicator—written, verbal, and visual.
- Proven time-management and multitasking abilities under shifting priorities.
- Analytical mindset—comfortable interpreting spreadsheets, dashboards, KPIs.
- Adaptability and curiosity; you thrive amid ambiguity and rapid change.
- Team-centric attitude with inclusive, gender-neutral leadership style.
- Availability for hybrid or fully remote collaboration across US time zones.
