Erica Van Noy

Specialization: UX Designer
— I’m a former professional household manager turned UX Designer, blending years of experience in anticipating needs, solving problems, and creating seamless experiences in real life—now applied to the digital world. — My journey into UX began organically during my time as a freelance personal assistant and social media manager. Where I specialized in streamlining communication & designing user centered content. That spark grew into a deep passion for UX Design, driven by my love of understanding people and making their everyday interactions more intuitive and meaningful. — Today I bring a unique perspective to UX—grounded in empathy, meticulous organization, and a hands-on approach to problem solving. I’m excited to continue building thoughtful, accessible digital experiences that truly serve their users. Skills: — User Research & Empathy – Understanding user needs through interviews, surveys, and usability testing to design solutions that truly solve real-world problems. — Wireframing & Prototyping – Creating low- and high-fidelity designs using tools like Figma or Adobe XD to visualize ideas and test functionality. — Collaboration & Communication – Working effectively with designers, developers, and stakeholders to translate user insights into intuitive, accessible design solutions.

Roam Goods

● I was the Lead Designer for this project and was responsible for wireframing, user research, hi-fi prototyping, usability studies and mockups. ● I was the sole designer on this project and was responsible for the entire website design from start to finish. ● My goal was to create a responsive site where any user interested in outdoor recreation could find what they needed. ● I wanted a "one stop shop" site where they could find what equipment they needed, in addition to helpful tips.

Little Literacy Lab

● I was the Lead UX Designer on this project and completed all of the wireframing, user research, hi-fi prototyping, usability studies and mockups. ● I was the sole designer on this project and was responsible for the entire website design from start to finish. ● My goal with this project was to solve a problem I observed in my own community, which is a decline of literacy in children and young people. ● I aimed to create a responsive site where both families and educators could access helpful resources to improve literacy in children and raise awareness about banned books.
