Junior Unity Developer | C# & Real-Time 3D

Full-time
Remotely

We aren't expecting a seasoned pro. We're looking for potential, a strong foundation, and a genuine passion for making games and interactive experiences. We can teach you the rest.

The team you're joining is about 20 people total- a mix of engineers, designers, producers, and QA. We build games and other real-time 3D applications for clients in entertainment, education, and advertising. The work is varied.

Your Role and Responsibilities

- Translate design specifications and creative concepts into functional, high-quality games and applications using the Unity engine and C# scripting.

- Implement core gameplay mechanics, user interfaces (UI), and interactive features for a variety of projects.

- Collaborate closely with designers, artists, and other engineers to ensure a cohesive and polished final product.

- Identify, debug, and resolve technical issues and performance bottlenecks to guarantee a smooth user experience.

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented C# code, adhering to established coding standards and best practices.

- Assist in managing the build pipeline and deploying applications to multiple platforms (e.g., mobile, desktop, web).

- Actively participate in team discussions, contributing fresh ideas and perspectives.

This is probably you:

- You have a solid grasp of C# and object-oriented programming. You know what a class is versus a struct.

- You've spent a good amount of time inside the Unity editor. You've built things. Maybe for a class project, a game jam, or just for fun.

- A portfolio is key here. We absolutely need to see what you've made. Send links to your GitHub, Itch.io page, or a personal site. A finished game- even a small one- speaks volumes.

- You understand the basics of version control. We use Git. You don't need to be a wizard, but you should know how to commit, push, and create a pull request.

- You're a good communicator. For a remote team, this is non-negotiable. You have to be clear and proactive in your written communication.
