Junior Program Coordinator – Remote Tech Projects
You’ll join a fast-moving program management office that steers multiple SaaS, data analytics, and fintech deliverables. From day one, you’ll handle task calendars, consolidate status reports, and spot risks before they snowball—giving product teams the breathing room to innovate.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain detailed schedules in Asana, Jira, or Trello, ensuring no milestone slips unnoticed.
- Track key metrics—budget burn, velocity, issue counts—and present succinct weekly dashboards.
- Document outcomes, action items, and decisions in Confluence or Notion for full auditability.
- Facilitate stand-ups, sprint reviews, and stakeholder check-ins; keep conversations concise and goal-driven.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, QA, and finance partners to unblock tasks and balance priorities.
- Flag scope creep, dependency clashes, or resource gaps; propose pragmatic mitigation plans.
- Support quarterly budget cycles by reconciling forecasts with actuals and highlighting variances.
- Continuously refine coordination processes, adopting automation scripts and AI assistants where practical.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field.
- 0-2 years’ experience in program coordination, project assistance, or internship work.
- Proficiency with one or more project management platforms (Jira, Monday.com, MS Project).
- Solid grasp of Agile and Waterfall fundamentals.
- Sharp written and verbal communication—able to translate technical jargon into clear updates.
- Unwavering attention to detail; you notice a mismatch in dates before the team does.
- Strong time-management; juggle parallel workstreams without dropping deliverables.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to SQL or BI dashboards for data-driven reporting.
- Experience coordinating remote or distributed teams across time zones.
