Junior Content Marketing Assistant
What You Will Do
- Draft engaging blog articles, newsletters, and micro-copy that match our brand voice.
- Research industry trends, keywords, and competitor activity to fuel fresh content ideas.
- Build and maintain a 90-day editorial calendar in Notion (or Trello) that keeps campaigns on track.
- Schedule and optimize posts across LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and TikTok using Hootsuite.
- Update on-page SEO elements—titles, meta descriptions, alt-text—within WordPress and Webflow.
- Assist in designing basic graphics in Canva; collaborate with designers on larger assets.
- Pull weekly performance snapshots from Google Analytics 4, Ahrefs, and social dashboards.
- Present data-driven insights that improve click-through rate, dwell time, and conversions.
- Document workflows, style guides, and content briefs for future scalability.
- Experiment with AI tools (ChatGPT, Jasper) to streamline ideation—while safeguarding brand tone.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related discipline.
- Internship or 6+ months experience creating digital content for blogs or social channels.
- Solid writing portfolio demonstrating clarity, creativity, and US English grammar.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow) and basic HTML/CSS tags.
- Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals: keyword research, on-page optimization, SERP intent.
- Confidence using Google Workspace, Canva, Hootsuite (or Buffer), and collaboration tools like Slack.
- Analytical mindset; comfortable interpreting metrics in Google Analytics and Search Console.
- Detail orientation—proofreads twice, ships once.
- Adaptable spirit; you pivot quickly when algorithms or priorities shift.
- Time-management prowess enabling you to juggle multiple deadlines in a distributed team.
